Boost Revenue:  Provide #1 iWorkwell as an HR value-add

Differentiate your firm, retain existing clients and win new ones

  • Providing iWorkwell tells your clients and prospects, 'We care about your well-being and value you as our client; thank you for your business.'

This helps you in three ways:

    • Client retention. The value-add builds loyalty, incentivizing customers to stay with you.
    • Cross-selling. They may not be using some of your other products & services — now is a great time to ask if they'd like to start.
    • New client acquisition — get more referrals. Do they know anyone else they could introduce you to, referrals who would benefit from your services?

Ultimately iWorkwell will improve your bottom line.

  • iWorkwell’s members-only website is a state-of-the-art resource (information, tools & services) that improves organizations’ HR practices, lowers management costs and boosts productivity.

iWorkwell is in a class by itself, providing the highest caliber expertise in all things HR ... such as employee benefits (including health care reform), talent management, and legal compliance ... indeed, everything to do with lowering the risks — and cutting the costs — of attracting, retaining and managing people.

It's like 24x7 support for managers and (typically lean) HR and Finance staffs, and is an efficient vehicle for keeping them up-to-date to make informed decisions.  iWorkwell clients find best practices, resolve personnel problems, implement streamlined procedures, drive consistency throughout the organization, stay compliant with the latest HR laws, and reduce turnover of top talent.

iWorkwell scales to support human resources in all types and sizes of businesses and non-profits — from 3-person startups to the Fortune 500.

  • According to Zywave's most recent Broker Services Survey...

"There is a widening gap between what employers expect of their broker, and what brokers are actually delivering. [Since mid-2013] employers expected more than ever, while what brokers delivered actually decreased."

"Gone are the days in which [brokers can rest on their 'relationships and service' laurels. Those are no longer] enough to differentiate an agency. Yes, all employers say they value relationships and service - and they do - but to compete and truly position yourself for success in the marketplace, [brokers] need to offer much more, providing services that clients cannot live without."

Employers cited these broker shortcomings (i.e., your opportunity):  74% are "unsatisfied" that their broker does not provide an adequate sample employee handbook & policies.

Among their top criteria in selecting a benefits broker, employers cited these "important, expected" services:

    • 97% - a broker must "Answer our compliance-related questions (COBRA, FMLA, HIPAA, PPACA, etc)" and "Provide updates and guidance on health care reform and other legislative changes."
    • 93-95% - a broker must "Offer employee communications to help our employees [a] make benefit decisions and understand the benefits that we provide," [b] "understand how health care reform affects them," and [c] "improve their health and become wise consumers of health care."
    • 92% - a broker must "Provide online access to policies and compliance and HR tools."

Finally, as for "What keeps clients up at night," 50% of respondents cited "Keeping in compliance and up to date on changing legislation, including health care reform" as a top benefit challenge [trailing only "Managing health care costs," cited by 73%]; 29% cited "attracting & retaining employees" as a top challenge, 21% listed "HR issues," and 14-18% cited employee wellness.

    You get the point, right?

Employers now expect  brokers  to provide all of this — exactly the kind of help that iWorkwell delivers.

    rpadulo@iworkwell.com

After graduating from Harvard University, I earned my Ph.D. from Oxford University in Management Science with a dissertation on "Managing Corporate Transformations" and worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, specializing in change management. When conducting detailed studies of large corporations in various industries, I noticed that HR was often ineffective and a hindrance to managing change. I then spent the latter 1990s advising and investing in a variety of startups, and found that small firms have no idea how to do anything related to HR, and nowhere to go for affordable, quality help.

In late 1999 I founded iWorkwell to serve this giant un-served market, bringing both academic rigor and practical experience to the world's largest multi-national corporations as well as to the smallest private firms. Our mission has been the same ever since:

To provide the state-of-the-art resource (information, tools & services) that improves organizations' HR practices, lowers management costs and boosts productivity. Being the best, and the best value, has never been good enough. The iWorkwell team has a passion for continuously improving and providing unparalleled excellence in everything we do — the highest quality, totally comprehensive, and most user-friendly service possible. In brief, "HR Made Easy."
